Modern Flying V performance, taken to new heights.

The Epiphone Prophecy series has been completely reimagined for players who demand uncompromising speed, precision, and tonal authority. More than an evolution, this is a full redesign from the ground up. Built to meet the demands of today’s serious musicians, the new Prophecy series combines iconic Epiphone heritage with forward-thinking performance innovation, delivering refined instruments that are aggressive and purpose-built for modern players. Powerful, articulate, and boldly designed, Prophecy series models represent the forefront of Epiphone’s Modern Collection, offering premium craftsmanship, advanced tonal flexibility, and high-performance specifications tailored for today’s most demanding musical styles.

The new Prophecy Flying V™ is a perfect example of this vision. It features a satin-finished mahogany Flying V body with a highly flamed maple veneer. The top also features multi-ply binding. The thermally aged, one-piece maple neck is also satin-finished for a smooth playing feel. The neck is reinforced with graphite rods for enhanced stability and long-term reliability, and has a fast-playing Hyperglide profile. Its extended 25.5" scale length is ideal for modern tunings, offering enhanced string tension and clarity for drop-tuned performance. The bound ebony fretboard has a 10"-14" compound radius, and is equipped with 24 stainless steel frets for an incredibly fast, smooth, and durable playing surface. It is adorned with black mother-of-pearl block inlays, which add to its sleek, stealthy appearance. The multi-ply-bound Flying V headstock is adorned with the Epiphone logo and Custom split diamond inlay, delivering an unmistakably premium aesthetic.

Black hardware continues the modern, aggressive design language. Locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a GraphTech® nut, and the LockTone™ Modern bridge work together to provide outstanding tuning stability and consistent performance. The through-body Frequensator influenced tailpiece design enhances string-tension balance, delivering articulate lows, expressive highs, excellent sustain, and effortless string bending.

At the core of the Prophecy Flying V’s sonic versatility are custom-voiced Fishman® Fluence® pickups, designed specifically for the Prophecy series. These advanced electronics provide three distinct tonal voices via intuitive push/pull master volume and tone controls:

• Modern high-output active humbucker™ tones
• Vintage Patent Applied For-inspired humbucker character
• Optimized single-coil-inspired clarity

This wide tonal range allows the Prophecy Flying V to excel across gain-heavy modern genres while maintaining the versatility required for recording, rehearsal, and live performance.

The Prophecy Flying V delivers tight low-end response, focused mids, exceptional articulation, and remarkable consistency under demanding conditions. Every specification is engineered to serve players who require performance without compromise.
