New American Professional vs. American Professional II

Building on the extremely popular American Professional II series, the new generation focuses on meaningful refinements rather than a complete redesign. The new American Professional lineup introduces V-Mod III pickups for enhanced clarity and tonal balance, updated bridges for improved stability and sustain, and refined neck designs with rolled fretboard edges for extra comfort. Push-push tone controls add versatility, giving players more sounds to explore.

On an alder body, Fender has continued to offer many of their iconic finishes, including 3-Colour Sunburst, Olympic White, Dark Night, and new to the American Professional series, Oxblood. Opting out of the traditional Sienna Sunburst, Fender has changed over to Aged Cherry Burst for many of their ash body designs, along with Natural and Butterscotch Blonde on select models.
